Please note before booking…

Chishuru is not a fine dining restaurant. Yes we have a Michelin star but our style is relaxed and homely, we play music, and some of our customers can get loud - that’s who we are.

Availability

We are open for lunch and dinner from Monday to Friday, and we’re closed on weekends. Currently you can book up to 60 days in advance for dinner and 30 days for lunch. Our maximum party sizes are six people at dinner and eight people at lunch.

We only take bookings via the website, not via email, thanks. You are welcome to walk in but currently we are (happily) very busy, so booking is advised. Our latest seating times are 1.45pm for lunch and 9.30pm for dinner, and online bookings are available at 15 minutes’ notice. Dietary Requirements

As we offer a set menu only, please visit our Food & Drink page before booking if any of your party have specific dietary requirements; don’t rely on just adding a note to your reservation if there’s a serious allergy.

No-Show Fees

If you don't turn up for your booking, or if you cancel with less than eight hours' notice for a dinner booking, or three hours' notice at lunch, we charge a no-show fee - further details can be found in the booking process.

Short-Show Fees

Please don't book a table of two even though there's only one of you, or a table of three or four even though there's only two of you. If you do, a £50 'short show fee' will be added to your bill.

Table Times

At dinner, for tables of one to two guests we allow 1h45m, two hours for tables of three to four, 2h15m for tables of five, and 2h30m for tables of six and up. From 6 May, we allow 1h45m for tables of one, and two hours for tables of two.

We are a small restaurant so there may be a booking after yours on the same table (in which case we’ll need the table back). If you think you’d want longer on the table, we recommend making a post-8pm reservation where your table won’t be turned.

Children & Babies

We have a highchair and space for pushchairs; please add a note to your booking so we can put you on a convenient table.

At lunch we are happy to welcome children who don’t order from the menu or who will just share your food. At dinner, everyone occupying a seat needs to order the full set menu.

There's no need to include children in the number of guests if they won’t be having a meal; for us, two adults and a baby in a highchair is a table of two, and three adults and two kids who won’t order their own meal is a table of three. Please do let us know in a note or over email, however, that the kids will be coming so we can make sure the table is big enough.

Payment

Please note we take card payment only.

Communications

If you opt out of receiving marketing communications, you may not get an email confirmation of your booking. We promise not to sell on your details, please don't opt out!
