Dietary requirements

WHAT WE CAN ALWAYS ACCOMMODATE

We don’t need any advance warning for the main dietary requirements - just talk it through with your waiter. These are:

  • Vegetarian

  • Pescatarian

  • Coeliac / gluten-free

  • Lactose intolerant

  • Peanut / treenut allergies

  • No beef / pork / shellfish

Our meat is not halal, but we always have pescatarian and vegetarian options.

WHAT WE CAN NEVER ACCOMMODATE

If you are strongly allergic to alliums (garlic, onion), celery, red/green/yellow peppers or tomatoes we will not be able to serve you at all.

We cannot accommodate vegan diets, or lactose-intolerant vegetarian diets.

If you have absolutely no tolerance for spice/heat, we recommend choosing a different restaurant, sorry - we can’t make our food less spicy. It is quite rare however that a customer finds the food so spicy they can’t eat it.

WHEN TO CHECK WITH US

If one particular guest has multiple dietary requirements (eg coeliac & nut allergy, vegetarian & gluten intolerant) then do please check with us before booking; it’s helpful if you let us know whether it’s a mild or a strong intolerance.

If you have a severe allergy that is not on the list of 14 allergens we are required to record by law then please check with us in advance over email before making a reservation.
